New Stampin' Up! Catalog 2009-2010

I finally got my new catalog the other day. I've had a chance to thumb through it once so far. I'm gonna go look at it again later tonight. I like the In Colors this year. It usually takes me a while to get used to them or love them, then by the time the year is almost over I think "why did I wait so long? I love these colors?" but this time I think I will have NO Problem!
I love the new personalized stamps, the birthday collections, the little tip bars, I love how each section starts with facing pages of the best of the collection! Speakin' of collections... the organization collection~ LOVE IT! I'm not saying I'll get organized with it, I'm just saying it'll look pretty and maybe like I'm organized. I also love the medallion background stamp. All of the beautifully coordinated kits will make it so easy to start stamping and make it look like you've been doing it for years. Even the under $10 stamps and and kits! What do you think?

Decor Elements

Check out beautiful the Decor Elements line is!
I just ordered a couple for my home. 1 Christmas themed (for next year) and long stem silhouette. I love the tree and the fairy princess theme! If only I had a little girl...
I am also diggin' that flower finesse as a hostess gift. I also think that laundry sign maybe a good idea too. Hmmm
I currently have NOTHING on my walls and am very excited to continue deocorating my home!

Shelli's Blog

Shelli (CEO & founder of Stampin' Up!) has her own blog, it has everything you expect from a crafty preson's blog.
Shelli recently went to her local TV station and made these adorable place settings all from the Ski Slope Scrapbook paper. The audio/video was a little off but still a good demo!

Enjoy the video!

Shelli and us: Convention 2007

Hello?! Sara! Did you forget what year it is? No. Ok, So WHY did it take me so long to put this picture up? I don't know. Who wouldn't want to share such a fabulous shot? Shelli was very gracious in letting us stop her for this picture at last years convention.
In the picture (l-r) my sideline Kim, my cool upline Laurie, Shelli, my sideline Nicole and me.

Oh! my aching back, new catalog and a card - Really!

I made this card for my brother's birthday. He is a gardener so the flowers are appropriate, I just tried to keep it simple. I used Night of Navy, Old Olive and Sahara Sand Inks and Cardstock. I used the Heartfelt Thanks, Canvas and Everyday Flexible Phrases stamp sets.

I have received my Winter 2007-2008 catalog and it's lovely, fantastic, gorgeous, addicting, etc., etc. If you haven't already seen it (gasp!) check it out here. I love the new In Color WILD WASABI! I haven't played with mine yet, I just finished mounting my new stamp sets.

I went to a spine specialist (is that a real title?) today for my back and I have a diagnosis after about 15 years of wondering and guessing: a tear in one of my discs, which is why I haven't felt like posting much lately. The doctor said I keep re-tearing it but never quite rupturing it (whew!). When I tear the disc, my muscles bunch up around it to protect it, which would explain why my pelvis sometimes feels like its almost dislocated! So I get to do physical therapy. Actually, I already was but it wasn't enough.
After my root canal on Wednesday, I should be doing good. July has just GOT to be better than June. Right?! mmmmm I'm going to bed.

I want my catalog!

My upline got hers today and she only lives a few blocks away! IT'S NOT FAIR!!
sniff sniff.

Stampin' Up!'s New Fall/ Winter Catalog 2007

Today I received my copy of the Stampin' Success magazine, it's a periodical magazine that SU! sends out to each of their demonstrators each month with, tip of the ice berg: spectacular card and craft designs, tips, techniques and ideas. This month, of course, it's all about the new catalog. MY SKIN IS CRAWLING!!!

SPOILER ALERT!!!

I promise not to give away too much in details but you have just got to be a LITTLE excited!? RIGHT?
I love the sneak peek into some of the new stamp sets, accessories, card stock and designer paper.
Does anyone else out there get a little excited with all things boho (bohemian). I do. I wish I used that kind of stuff more often. It's new, uncharted territory for me, so I look forward to getting my feet wet with it!
I know I'm not the only one DROOLING over and LOVING scallop punches. There are other new punches and I'm psyched with what I've seen so far.
And the new chipboard products.... oh yah baby!
Some of you may have already seen the rhinestone accents on card examples. LOVE EM! But the new ribbons.... lots and lots of NEW ribbons!!
I'm absolutely giddy!!
ok.
take a deep breath with me.
